BOARD OF DIRECTOR’S MEETING

OF THE

PLEVNA RURAL FIRE DISTRICT

December 14, 2023

Chairman Shaun Crisler called the meeting to order, Directors Bobby Wiedmer, Dana Buerkle and Larry Steffes were present. Chief Kalyn Bohle and Recording clerk Stephanie Crisler were also present. Director Cody Rieger was absent.

The minutes of the November 2023, Board of Director’s meeting were read and MDU check #4181 amount $44.60 corrected to $44.66.

Motion was made by Director Dana Buerkle, seconded by Director Larry Steffes, and carried to pay the following bills,

                     Chairman Shaun Crisler asked for old business. He let everyone know that he picked up the new truck from Two Rivers Ford.

                     Chairman Shaun Crisler asked for new business. Chairman Shaun mentioned the mayor Gary Thielen asked if Plevna Fire District would buy a tool for the fire hydrants in town. The board decided that was something that the town should purchase not the fire district. The electrical at the community center was brought up. Director Dana made the motion to have Direct Electric fix the outlets and add a light switch by the front door. Bobby seconded. Recording clerk Stephanie mentioned the two terms up for election.
