The Forrest Duffield
Museum Home Exhibit is a replica of the original 1910 claim shack built by
Sam and Jessie Duffield. The interior is a view of the original decorating,
including the Majestic cook stove used for family cooking. |
| The main Museum building was the county jail and resident home for the
sheriff before the new jail and courthouse was constructed. |

The Lambert House was built in 1907 by Amos and Corida Lambert. This small
structure was home to a family of eleven during homestead days. The interior
of the house has retrofitted to match the early homestead period. |
