The Forrest Duffield Museum Home Exhibit is a replica of the original 1910 claim shack built by Sam and Jessie Duffield. The interior is a view of the original decorating, including the Majestic cook stove used for family cooking.
The main Museum building was the county jail and resident home for the sheriff before the new jail and courthouse was constructed.
The Lambert House was built in 1907 by Amos and Corida Lambert. This small structure was home to a family of eleven during homestead days. The interior of the house has retrofitted to match the early homestead period.
